Students were taken to Qcrete RMC Plant, Ambalamedu. There they got the opportunity to visualize readymix concreting process, were in fresh concrete is produced by weigh batching under complete quality control. They also explained about the material storage comopartments, usage of admixtures, sampling of the fresh concrete for compressive strength testing etc. They also showed students how the workability test is performed for measuring slump value.
